The 2025 Funko Pop Price Guide: What's Hot and What's Not

October 15, 20258 min read

We analysed over 120,000 completed eBay sales from April through September 2025 to build the most data-driven Funko Pop price guide available. Here's what the numbers say.

The top 10 fastest appreciating pops of 2025

Convention exclusives continue to dominate. San Diego Comic-Con 2025 exclusives saw an average 340% price increase within 30 days of the event — outpacing every other release type. Chase variants from the Marvel and Star Wars lines also outperformed the market.

Genres gaining momentum

Anime has overtaken Television as the second-largest genre by transaction volume, driven by Dragon Ball Super, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Demon Slayer releases. Category heat scores for Anime are at a 3-year high.

Ad Icons — the quirky Funko niche covering brand mascots like the Michelin Man and Mr. Clean — has shown 18% average appreciation, driven by Gen-Z nostalgia demand.

What's cooling off

Common series 1 pops from mid-tier DC properties have seen price compression of 15–30%. Oversupply from retailers clearing inventory is the primary driver. If you're buying for investment, avoid anything with a retail restock history.
